Tourtiere is a French Canadian Meat Pie, and something I remember eating every Christmas Eve at my grandparents house in Ottawa, Ontario, my Dad's family being French Canadian. When we moved across the country to BC, when I was 10, we continued the tradition. When I got married, with step kids, we carried on my beloved Christmas Eve Tourtiere tradition. This is the recipe my grandfather used (with a few tweeks from my Mom). Tourtiere

2hrs 15mins YIELD: 3 pies INGREDIENTS
2 lbs ground veal or 1 lb of each
DIRECTIONS
Remove from heat and mix in:
Fill 3 bottom pie shells (quite full) and wet edges with egg/water combination.
